NEW NETWORKS   Homelessness Homeless coalitions across the nation work hard to provide services and do case management.  Our research shows there are several excellent case management systems designed specifically for homeless coalitions.  However there is no resource directory or referral system in this sector and a tremendous need to complement efforts already underway to increase awareness, engage community resources, and build capacity.   Resource directories and referral system have demonstrated their effectiveness to build awareness, identify resources, engage the community, and build capacity.   We are seeking funding and partners to deploy a network across the nation to serve the Homeless ……… Contact Us

Orphans We received funding to do a feasibility analysis to deploy a worldwide directory of organizations engaged in helping orphans including the services they provide.  The directory would be facilitated and managed by volunteers from different countries.   The initial goals include awareness, identification, and access.  Future goals include aggregation and analysis of information, support groups, and best practices.   We are seeking comment and recommendation on this proposed project ……… Contact Us   Other We welcome recommendations and proposals to assist in other areas

NETWORK HIGHLIGHTS   Restorative Justice Community We welcome ReEntry Guru in Bradford, Pennsylvania as the most recent reentry center to join others across the nation using our shared technology framework to work collaboratively together.  This initiative was started by Deacon Gerald J. Beeman of Catholic Prison Ministries and representatives of the “McKean Re-Entry Initiative” for the McKean Federal Correctional Institution.   SHARE Network USA Congratulations to SHARE Network Missouri and SHARE Network Ohio on their two year anniversary.   Welcome to SHARE Network Delaware as the most recent SHARE Network.

Emergency Response Network In June of 2008 Emergency Response Network announced what might be the largest and most significant assistance package this year to communities across the nation seeking to build capacity in Preparedness, Response, and Recovery.   On the We Provide page of their website they have offered a Resource Directory to every citizen corps (2,300) and every community.  They have also provided a package that includes a website, resource directory, case management, communications donations, and more.  The package is available at a very low monthly fee plus it includes 40 hours of free website design - worth approximately $2,000 at a market price of $50 per hour.
